Aira, based in San Diego, CA, leverages the power of mobile communications — together with a confluence of technologies (e.g. smart glasses and Augmented Reality) — to provide instant access to information for blind people. Users, by tapping their Aira app, connect within seconds to a network of certified remote agents who help the user — through the user’s smart glass wearable — gain unprecedented access to real-time information and assistance in a wide range of daily activities.
